  • ANNUAL PMPC MEMBERSHIP - 2020-02-12

    Annual PMPC club membership is valid from April 1 to March 31. Membership is necessary if you belong to a dragon boat team, or the voyageur racing team. It allows you to participate in any of the programs at PMPC.

  • YOUTH PROGRAM - AGES 10-18 - 2019-10-25

    Back by popular demand! Paddling fun for youth 10-18. All young paddlers are welcome, no experience necessary.

    This series is intended to provide a safe and fun place for youth to paddle and enjoy learning at the same time. There is no pressure to compete or train - just a focus on fun and developing a passion for paddling!

    * Come experience stand up paddle boards, sprint canoes, kayaks, dragon boats, outriggers, and recreational canoes.
    * Learn some basic paddling techniques and/or improve your existing stroke
    * Fun games and activities

  • CanoeKids Camp - 2020-03-01

    Pitt Meadows Paddling Club offers CanoeKayak Canada’s signature CanoeKids Day Camps focusing on skills development to introduce the sport of paddling. Children aged 8 –13 yrs experience sprint canoes, kayaks, dragonboats, outriggers, and recreational canoes. Available during July and August, campers will receive instruction in various types of paddling from certified coaches, and enjoy spending time on the water practicing what they’ve learned. The daily paddling activities are balanced with games and day trips to various spots along the river, as well as lots of swimming on those hot and sunny days. No experience is needed and campers work at their own pace to develop paddling skills.

    Games, team boats, singles, pleasure canoes, voyageur canoe and the dragon boat will all be introduced to the participants during the week long sessions. The week finishes with a BBQ, mini regatta and certificate presentation.

    Price – $250 for the program;  To register for a second camp this summer, or for a second child in the family, $210.  GST will be added and included in the total reflected.

    Children must be 8 years of age to participate in the camp due to the physical expectations.

    Hours 9 am to 3 pm

    After Camp Care available from 3 pm to 4 pm - $25 per child

    Come paddle a recreational kayak with the club. It's easy and fun. Bring a friend!

    Please come on time, and be prepared to follow physical distancing rules.

Membership in the Pitt Meadows Paddling Club

Some of the many benefits of membership:

  • Ability to participate in any of the PMPC paddling programs
  • Access to special Members-ONLY Casual Paddling
  • Use of the club boats and other equipment (e.g. paddles, PFDs, etc.) during program times
  • Participate in workshops and paddling clinics (some may have a small additional costs to cover outside coaching fees)
  • Represent the Club at races
